This is a dive only for the very experienced diver you should have Advanced & Deep diver plus at least 100 dives. The Cita del Mar is a fishing trawler that was making its way in to port heavily laden with its catch was caught in a storm and heavy seas near the lighthouse and sank in about 30mts over the years it has gradually slipped to where it now rests in 45mts and for a long time was known as the ghost ship because its sails and nets could be seen waving in the currents. We anchor the boat just off the wreck in 40mts as we descend the line the wreck comes into view it is still very much in tact although it is slowly being covered by sand there is still a lot to see and explore in the short time that we have down there after our time on the wreck we start our assent which we do by making our way inshore towards the lighthouse finishing our dive on top of a reef in 6mts using delayed SMBs.
